Default I Need My 275/35/20 rear tires mounted and balanced

I just ordered a pair of Ventus Sport K104s. I was actually looking for 285s but discounttiredirect was only selling 285s with 30mm profile (to thin for my taste).

I know some places in my area (Dulles, VA) charging anywhere from $25 to $45 per tire.

Anyone know of some places in the NOVA area?

I have a body kit and I'm lowered. So If I were to bring the Z in instead of just the rims the shop in question must be body kit/lowered friendly.

You can prolly still jack your car up from the Diff, throw stockers on, and take the wheels in your beeter to you shop of choice

I had brents wheels mounted at that shop off 606.

I think I know which shop you're talking about. I don't have my stockers anymore so I'd probably just leave them on jacks for the time being.

So how much was it per tire?

I don't recall ... Not over $100.. for mounting and balance.. thats for sure... might have been around $50?

+ they have the proper equipment to do it w/out scratching up your wheels. I need to do my rears here soon, and I'll be taking the wheels there.

OT-did you ever get your alignment done? If so what are the specs? Good luck with the rice patty tires.

$50 per tire? hmmm that seems a bit pricey just to mount and balance a tire. Especially if I'm just bring them the rims.

lol I know, I know. I wanted to get the Faulken 452s but decided I didn't want to mismatch. Next time I'll replace all four and ditch the "rice patties".

As for the alignment, not yet. The past week as been one hell hole (Significant death in the family) so I haven't had the time.

Thanks Mike. I think some of you might have an idea who it might be, but out of respect for Suzie I won't go into details.

Karl,

Sorry to hear about the loss in your family. But to answer your question, Yes, i do know of a place...PTUNING. We don't just have the best alignment system around, but we also have the best tire changer and balancer made. This is the same tire changer and balancer used by Ferrari. The cost is $30/per wheel, mounted and balanced. And you do not have to take the wheels of the car. We have the proper lifts to handled your lowered vehicles.

Thanks. That's good to hear. I may just wait then when I get you guys to install the camber kit/4 wheel alignment.

Curry's in Chantilly could handle it for you as well, they have all the proper equipment and are lowered car friendly (they do lots of work on Porsche's, BMW's, etc)
