Default any nitrous installers in the area?

looking to get a full NX system installed sometime later (not within the next 6 months probably)

any places in this area that does them for a reasonable install price? I know car toyz 2 does a lot of custom visuals, but of course, i really want someone thats actually done the install multiple times before

(i wanted to go supercharger, but after adding up the costs, just cant afford that)

can you do mechanical and elec work? Nitrous isnt a hard install, just time consuming. Gotta think things through (wiring diagram, what wire goes where, does what ect) but tapping the intake is a breeze.

Id suggest using a aam or ptp fuel adapter. dont cut the hose! the adapter is a cheap insurance policy and is easy to remove if necessary.

Function TUNED. Only place to go in this area really, if you want quality work.

i can do mechanical and wiring, but i prefer letting someone else do it that can do it more efficiently and have the tools to get it done right, so i dont mind paying the premium of labor costs

i will definitely hit up function tuned once i get more funds ready for the whole process... sent a message via the webpage to get a rough estimate, ive heard for everything including tune, utec, gauges will run me under 2500

Dave at Function Tuned will do the install and give you a good tune. However, I'd strongly suggest saving up a few more bucks to get the supercharger kit you really want. You'll be happier in the long run.

If you'd like you can check out my set up at the next Columbia meet.

i actually considered teh vortech sc first before the n2o, but costs for a full setup including supporting components ran to 7k+

soo... i think ill stick to my 2500 n2o setup instead

$50 a week for refills add up quick. In two years you'd have enough for the SC.

indeed it would... but i dont plan on using nos every week.. maybe once a month, 2 times/mo tops... thatll give me... 4 years! hah.. by then, im sure ill do something a bit more pricey.. i dont think i can save up for that long.. i like to spend money :-D which is kinda bad how I started buying things for my car before I even got it 3 weeks ago

can i close the valve and just unplug the tank (after a purge) anytime? im thinking it wouldnt be a good thing to leave it in the car everyday

Only if you park in a climate controlled garage. If you leave a full bottle in your car on a hot day you're going to be testing your blow down tube.

lol.. what i meant by close and unplug was in turn leading to taking it out of the car entirely but either way, you answered my question

No dyno numbers with the shot, but if I had to guess maybe 360whp. As for supporting mods; Injen intake, UR pulley, AAM Plenum spacer & oil pan spacer, grounding wire kit, Strup headers, XERD test pipes, AAM Y-pipe, TopSpeed Pro-1 exhaust, and the UTEC with mapswitch and tuner wideband.
