ALright following Dutchboys footsteps I just emailed the FFX guy who voted YEA on this:

Dear Elected Official Rust,

I am writing to you in regards to VA Bill 3202 which was recently passed and enforced
on July 1, 2007. I would like to inform you, if you didn't already know that a majority of
the people in Virginia are outraged by this ridiculous law that is currently robbing the good
citizens of this state. I find it very hard to believe that you can sit in your office and truly believe that this "law" will only affect those that are labeled as "Dangerous drivers". I would truly love to see the expression on your face when you are pulled over for what could be an honest mistake for making an improper lane change and get slapped in the face with a $350 + fee for years to come. Perhaps you do not care since you may get off scott-free being that you hold a position of influence but rest assured that individuals such as yourself will not sit in such a position for very long. I, along with hundreds upon hundreds of friends and voters are banding together to put a stop to this travesty, and will make sure that such a blatent abuse of power will not go unoticed. Please feel free to look at the other 40,000 plus individuals who agree with me.
http://www.petitiononline.com/va3202/petition.html

Regards,

Antonio Santos

P.S. Contrary to your opinion, we (the loyal and honest VA residents) are not stupid as to the fact of just how RICH this state is.

Now they're saying they're gonna decrease the fees ?

Somehow I have a feeling they're just gonna decrease a fine that was say $3000 to $2000 or a $1000 fine to a $600 fine

wooptie doo

Fear not my Vertical door friend lol ^^^^^^^^^^^^
They may hold a special session during
the summer, as it seems that in the interim
people may have to pay these horrible fees.

Keep up the good work. I had another Delegate reply to my email trying to be a smart a$$. Here's my reply.

I'm not sure what part of family AND FRIENDS you didn't understand. Typical politician, you like to pick and choose which comments you will and won't address.

You have hundreds of family members who live in Del. Marshall’s district?

I stand corrected. I mistakenly confused the tally you listed with this one. http://leg1.state.va.us/cgi-bin/legp...1HB3202+HB3202

It seems like the only delegate that showed prudence was Delegate Marshall. He is the only one that will receive my vote on November 7th. I'm already helping register hundreds of my family and friends who have not voted in the past. I'll make sure Delegate Marshall will get ALL of our votes. Those who voted YEA for this bill will have a uncertain political future come November 7th.

Good day,

Karl Coughlin

^^^^^^^^^

Iam telling you if i don't have a much better reason to vote this year
I dont know what else will, motivate me that is. Guy sounds like a *****!
I sent him the link to the 50,000 plus signatures already there. Looks like good things will happen. We will need to start a thread before election time and remind each other whom NOT to vote for.
