local asian market shut down

I stopped by today to pick up some stuff and it was closed =`( I saw some news vans and figured something went down.
I for one will go back, asian markets can be iffy, that's why when ever you shop, you should always check over things. meats and fish, smell them, look at them and so on.
I've bought a lot of meat in the past from them with zero issues. of course I pick out the best I can find.

I shop at Lotte from time to time but always stuck to sealed or able-to-inspect goods.
There are other large store choices
For hard core shopping, I and most of the family go to NOVA. You can find just about anything in the 7-corners/Eden area, RT50, Wilson Blvd, etc., etc. It's a long drive but got to go where the asian goods are at.
Btw - What do you guys cook?
There are other large store choices
- Grand Mart
- Korean Korner
- Phu Xuan (Gaithersburg)

Nice! I like this pic. My kinda meal where the family or friends can partake in a variety of dishes. The shrimp dish looks like Tom Rang Muoi. Your recipes look good. I have to register and post some. Btw - Have you tried wrapping egg rolls with rice paper? It's old world Vietnamese and not too many places or people can do it right if at all.
mmmmmm lead based sushi
I know we arent talking china, sidenote...
i saw this story on a bakery thing in china making these croissant type snacks, and they went into the warehouse and they were shredding cardboard and mashing it up with animal fat and making tasty treats. lots of vitamin C in carboard ...hahaa

Even if the steamed bun story wasn't staged, who cares. Theres 238940983240982039849038232349709234 people in China, if one person does something wrong like putting cardboard in buns, places like the US blow the story up like OMGGGGGGGGG Chinese people are soooo dirty or soooo wrong.
Mean while every single day a kid spits into your hamburger at MCDs yet that's.... while not ok, its accepted. "well thats why you don't eat at fast food places" thats the answer you here and then the next day the same person that said that is eating at burger king.
We're too judgmental of stupid things. I for one love steamed buns with any kind of bean paste. it's awesome! I think most Americans would also enjoy it.
It's sweet but not too sweet. very tasty!
You can also get steamed buns with chicken or pork in them.
MMmmm steamed buns FTW!
P.S speaking of setting people up, lets not forget about that Chinese place in NY that "so they say" served mouse.
