Money is not much of a question but i want to hear is your opinions on what are the best resonated test pipes out there.I have searched for to damn long and really didnt get what i wanted.Let me know guys.

 

I have had the Kinetix pipes (with the Borla TD) for about 2.5 years now and I love them. I have had zero issues with them and I love the sound. What are you trying to find out? Sound? Failures? CELs (I have had none with my 03)

I never had an issue with my old Kinetix tp's. Fast Intentions has pricey test-pipes but they are QUALITY! Megan Racing and Top Speed/Intense Motorsports tp's are suspect, the welds are bad and Ive seen 2 sets of each crack.

 

thanks rob and bert, i just dont want any rasp or the thought of some of them cracking.

 

UTR resonated test pipes are great. I have them in my car together with my Fujitsubo exhaust. No rasp at all and it gives great sound.

 

I havent come across these yet,do you have alink to them.

I bought the fast intentions resonated pipes. I believe tony, guy who makes it, warranties these pipes not to crack. Heard clips of them with the fast intentions exhaust and there is zero rasp. Not sure how itwill sound with the borlas but I'm sure itll be better then the other ones.
They have great customer service too.

 

I've had no problems with Helix and XERD and the Ichibas are holding up ok so far.

 

Keith-I have the Fast Intentions resonated TP's on the way so if you want to check em out just let me know. Like Gooey said they are warrantied which was a big + for me.

 

don't get AAM test pipes, those cracked on me so bad the bung with the O2 sensor came out and is gone. Still waiting to see if i can get a replacement set under warranty.

 

Hopefully they will be installed by the track day and then ill make up my mind.

 

my turboXS TP's cracked within a month of having them, were replaced under warranty by TurboXS though, so far these are holding up. Just don't bolt up to hangar and you should be ok. Don't really notice much rasp, but then again my Ti-C is pretty loud anyways.

I have had the Kinetix resonated test pipes for 3 years now. Noproblems what so ever. I had a extra bung welded into one of them last year and rechecked both of them. All the welds are just fine.

The kinetix are 2.25 all the way out correct? or 2.25-2.5? And whats the diameter size on the UTR RSTP?

 

my exhaust and test pipes should be coming in this friday according to fedex! Should have it on by the track event. You can listen to a galor of test pipes and decide for yourself then.

 

Gooey what did you end up getting?

 

Went with the fast intentions intimidator exhaust and resonated test pipes. Im very excited about the new set up.

 

Damn lol-same set-up Shawna has on the way...
