How much is your property tax??

If I don't have to pay the Cummunist Wealth's Property tax until next year, that would be nice! Come on Nissan, release the 08, leak the next gen Z, and watch my cars value fall fall fall!!!

Maybe to give you guys some ideas: WA. state a few years ago had large excise tax on cars(personal property tax). Even if you got a good deal, the tax charged on a new car wasn't based on what you paid, but a figure they determined(always higher). If you paid $30K for the car, the tax you were charged could have been based on $34K. On that amount it would have been about $400. You paid this even though the minute you drove off the lot the car would be worth maybe $25K as used.
The second year you were charged the same initial amount even though the car by this time had dropped to maybe 23K at the beginning of the year. You were never told what the value was that they were assessing, just the tax when you got your new annual tabs.
The people finally revolted, not on the practice that many didn't know about, but on the high tab fees relative to surrounding states. A people's initiative passed by overwhelming landslide and our tabs are now $36 per regular car for everyone period.
The politicians and government moaned and groaned and 5 years later are still blaming every shortcoming on the initiative. If they had admitted their cheating, apologized and lowered the taxes in half, no one would have complained. F*ck the unethical bastids. They are slowly cheating again finding ways around the law by allowing local authorities to add to the tab fees.
You should do the same in Virginia if the state allows initiatives by the people.
