Default rolled fenders?

I will be going with a more aggressive wheel and tire set up soon. But first I need to roll my fenders. Where can I get this done in the NOVA area?

Ive done 5 Z's now, 1 G35, 1 Celica and a Mazda MPV van. Never fawked any up. Feel free to PM me to set something up. OP-what offsets wheel/tire sizes you planning on? If its too agressive it will need to be cut, but rolling can take care of 90% of people's needs.

I run 285's out back with no rubbing. Bert did a really good job rolling my fenders and the paint hasn't dimpled or cracked. I highly recommend him.

I can do this for you guys since I still have the fender roller.
I've worked on a pristine 97 Supra, my Supra, and an is300 so far with no problems. I use a infrared thermometer to keep the paint temperature in the range.

I'm in the NOVA area.

infared thermometer and special fender rolling tools are needed?! i would hae thought a body hammer with a couple layers of tape on the face would do the job just fine but if someone could enlighten me on the processes involved i would appreciate it! Thanks!

You don't need the thermometer. I use it to just make sure nothing happens.

yes.

you heat up the fender "lip" that you are rolling in.
At first, it is a good idea to keep the temperature even inside and outside.

You dont need a thermometer to keep the fender warm, just common sense.

wow, i never knew there were specified tools for the job. where does one go about getting this tool and i'm assuming you just use a standard heat gun?

I run 285's with no rubbing and my fenders are not rolled!!!

I do need them rolled because I want to go with 255's in front and 305 in the rear with my next set.

Its all about proper offsets. Unfortunately proper offsets, means less lip, but MO GRIP!

lol

Whats proper offset for you may not be for others. The fenders/clearance in the G vs the Z is big, you guys dont need to roll as much as we do. Your fenders are wayy bigger I was shocked after finally doing a G. BTW-what offsets do you run? I'll guess around 30 rears? And you know you can run 255's up front right now right? And how is a proper offset more grip?

more grip as far as wider tires. im rolling the rear with a sick lip....one day...with 305's....hence the need for rolling. I have plus 30s on the rear now.
