David, can I register without being a member? Or show up on the day, and just pay to drive?

$30 for club members.
$40 for non-members.

Non-members can pre-register. I suggest that you do so. The club may set-up a cut-off, and not allow walk-ins.

Well, I've never been autoxing before, maybe I'll come and watch, get some pointers, and take some pictures for everyone. Perhaps, there maybe walk-ins available.

I'll do it. Let me play around in the 240 before it goes under the knife.

There’s always a first time. Pay your money and drive.

Looks like the usual suspects for Sunday. Why you guys do not support autocross is beyond me.

I think that turning the steering wheel while simultaneously pressing the accelerator petal scares a lot of these boys.

Wait till they hear we right foot brake also...

LOL. I hear that this is the last year for Ripken Stadium. The local community says no autocross for 2008.

Well what happened was that Aberdeen owns the lot and Ripken stadium gets the money we pay to lease out the lot. Sooo... The city council pooed on us.

Never fear there will still be autoxing in 08 the fix is not in yet on Aberdeen but if it does in fact go down that way we (AI) will be able to run events at Redskins stadium in addition to the DC SCCA region that runs events there.

Its a loss for the local economy. Figure that I have breakfast or dinner in Aberdeen: $10.

And fill-up after racing: $30.

$40 x 100 cars = $4,000.
