Default Ypipe $85 obo

Gruppe-S Y-pipe

it's been sitting in my basement for a very long time so it's a bit dusty, but generally looks like anything that has been under the car for 10K miles

$85 or best offer. Local pickup / meet-up.

i was going to buy it but found out the outlet diameter is 3", stock mid pipe is only 2.5". It might fit but what about performance?

I may be wrong but I believe most of the aftermarket y-pipes go to a 3" outlet.

I've had this Y-pipe and a tanabe on my car and see no difference at all in performance after many trips to the track.

*edit: ^ I mean I felt no difference between the two y-pipes, there was a difference between either y-pipe and stock

Anywhere from 2.5 to 3 will bolt up fine. The flang will take care of the dif of .5 inches.

No offenze, but maybe you cant drive well enough to see that 3-5WHP diff...thatz why you didnt zee a gain in the quarter time. Not trying to talk shizzil to you or about you... just thinking out loud. Thats like .1 off your time by the way. Pluz the Y pipe haz a smaller affect if you have alot of bolt-onz...itz the overall picture that matters. When manufacturez rate HP numberz..the car is stock then they add thier piece/party. They usually dont explain that if you have an intake, HF catz and exhaust that the gainz will be smaller because they would sell less. Hence your comment did not help the seller. Again, not trying to attack you or be a jerk. Just trying to help the OP.

My two centz

It's cool I am the OP

I didn't mean that I saw no difference by adding the y-pipe, I meant that I didn't see any difference between the two y-pipes (gruppe-S and tanabe). I ran the same times with this one as the tanabe, with trapspeed consistently 101-103 depending on conditions etc.

There was a difference when I added the gruppe-s from stock.

The guy that said he would buy it hasn't logged back in since yesterday afternoon, so I'm giving him a little while to respond. I'll wait until the end of the day for him.
