Anyone seen the Nissan Sport Article?
Just wondering what you guys thought about the Nissan Sport article with my and Alex's cars?
I think it was pretty well written and appreciated they included us in the editing of the article. I know that a # of other magazines are not letting me see the article before it is published. So it was really cool of Dave @ Nissan Sport to let me not only read, but edit for accuracy the article.
The Photo's are pretty cool, but I can tell you the pictures for Turbo are much hotter...

Brent,
Your Z is awesome!!!! We are pleased to have your car featured in fall 2007 issue of Nissan Sport.
As you observed, Nissan Sport strives to "get it right" by including the car owner in the editing process whenever possible.
Did you get a chance to read Sharif's article? We're planning on him doing at least two more for us.
Nissan Sport can be found in not only Barnes & Noble, but also Hastings and Borders. Unfortunately we're not in every store yet. You can check out which ones on our website - www.nissansportmag.com.

Thanks for waiting so long to finally get the pics. I know we have been discussing this article for almost a year now. She has been up and down so much I used to feel like a yo-yo. Thankfully she is mostly done now.
Yea, I really appreciated being able to review the article and ensure the accuracy of the technical details. Most other magazines don't do that, and you can clearly see that in their articles with mis-information regarding the mods on their cars. I really feel if you are doing something like this, to show off your ride or being the Magazine publisher, you need to be sure the information is correct. Otherwise it makes both the owner and the magazine look bad.
Yes, I read Sharif's first article. I was his "test market" at Starbucks one night while he was putting on the finishing touches. I think it is a great idea to give some of the tuners an opportunity to educate people on the basics of FI, or any real complicated mods, so people can try to make the most educated choices possible. That's what is great about Nissan Sport, I think you guys really try to educate and provide your readers with as much information as possible so they can make the right decisions for their situations and be as successful as possible with any work they do on their cars.
Thanks again for the praise guys. Most of you know the all the stuff I have been through with this car. I have tried to do everything to reflect both the cars abilities, and my personality. Hopefully it shows.
Everyone enjoy the holidays and stay safe on those roads as it gets colder. I hate seeing guys who lose it on the slick spots in the winter (Juan) and wind up balling up their rides they have worked on soo long through the spring/summer/fall. As for the other articles, I have no idea, they will not give me any information. They took pictures and told me to keep an eye out sometime around the new year.
