dude here you go again, WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE TO SAY THIS?

please, if I missed your continual patronage of AAM somewhere along the line let me know. also, this continues to get fishier and fishier with the wording you are using. I really hope you aren't a plant. cause you smell like a plant.

again let me reiterate so you cannot get confused: I am just trying to understand how you can state these things about AAM and have NOTHING to say about the work you got done, nor do I care.

Are you gonna contact Dave and see what he says/do regarding Mike's "findings"? How rich were you, how did you listen to the knock? Better yet, with no experience how did you know what knock even sounded like over reg valvetrain noise? Many tuners cannot differentiate knock on headphones enough to use them (others swear by it), and you hear it in 1 visit to AAM...

I gott agree with Motormouth, I know how AAM works with giving discounts, offerings for some + press, although the people who write these simple mod reviews wouldnt admit it. I hope Im wrong, and everybody feels as good as you when they leave AAM.

BTW-dont take this personal, just asking Q's...

My post quoting yours was mainly related to other guy's post. If you don't understand where my statements are coming from about the turn around for AAM please sell your z and buy a civic. And if you don't care then stop posting damn that simple. Have you got anything done there? Or are you just going off what you have heard?

Bert, you don't know me that well yet but from a Call of duty guy to another I was not approached at all for posting this thread in deal for discounts. This is purely for my purposes to express my personal experience. Just so everyone in the market can see different experiences, especially recent ones. I am done responding to Motormouth.

get my point: YOU DO NOT HAVE THE EXPERIENCE TO SAY WHAT YOU ARE
one visit and one tuning session and you are now a experienced customer with a history and customer relationship with AAM?

does that help? can you understand what I have repeatedly said? you visited them ONCE ,you CANNOT make that assertion that they have turned around.

if I am the only one who understands my point, I will shut up, but I think I have been extremely clear. (let me know) jeez, I wouldn't be arguing if you didn't misconstrue my posts constantly and refuse to understand.

And read how Alberto post his inquiry, with respect and out of pure curiousity. Learn something from him on how to approach a situation.

I am not the one asserting that they have had a complete turnaround from one visit, so that has nothing to do with anything.

Motormouth: I am done speaking to you because you led my thread exactly to where I was trying to avoid. This is not a pissing match in no means. Sorry we got off on the wrong foot, I think we both know where this is going so I am stopping now. Thank you for your interest in my thread.

Bert: I am honestly not sure as far as handing this with Dave, Extremely busy getting car ready for HIN and many upcoming shows. I obviously need something done for my knock prior to driving around god's green earth. For detecting knock, I am not sure the exact tool but Mike had the UTEC in my car hooked up to his laptop and was running the program to listen/see knock. Air/Fuel ratio was based off the measuring device they use in the shop. I did not get into too much detail on the exact devices used. But knock was a HKS product I believe and not sure on the A/F device.

I really don't even understand where you are coming from.

my experiences at AAM have nothing to do with this, and yes I have been to AAM before (this year) and met Clint(might have been Will though) and met Frank and met Dave. but again, that has nothing to do with it, and I did not dodge any questions even though you have not answered a single question I asked yet.

1 - what makes you think you have the authority to say they have turned around? were you a previous customer? how many times have you visited them?

come on man, don't make this into a big arguement by insulting me, answer the question or admit you do not have the basis to make the assertion that everything has changed there and I will move on and you can say whatever you want. (edit I see you post now)€

motormouth read my previous thread, I am done speaking with you. Have to be the bigger man and just to answer your question so you can sleep tonight. I have heard both sides of just about all of the stories that made the repuation for Altered the way it is. I am a previous customer, obviously from what you said you only visited but did not get work done. END OF CONVERSATION WITH YOU. thanks

I think you should understand where the OP's statement is coming from. If everyone that had no experience with AAM came in and discredit what he has to say, this thread would get 30k+ useless responses assuming we have over 30k members on this forum. Unless you have something constructive to criticize the thread, ask the OP, or share some past experience(which you haven't done so), your opinions are really doing nothing but bumping up the thread.
