congrats on being happy though.

I have to agree here with Tom, and my recent experience down there though not a bad one at all did open my eyes to a couple of things. First Mike who took the time to notice me standing around came up and asked me if anyone had given me a tour yet? As I said no he proceeded to show me around, at first I thought this is kinda cool until I realized it was simply a sales pitch for further business ( all the time apologizing about how messy the shop was) and it was! Although some people really appreciate Mikes technobabble, he just really came off as a used car salesman to me. I talked with Mike about a possable valvebody upgrade as my car is an automatic and he asked what future mods I had in mind, he told me they did them there, after talking to two of his techs after Mike had left they told me AAM does not do these. Odd, Mike just told me they did? I also overheard a conversation with the owner of a beautiful Z that in the dyno bay getting tuned that just had an APS twin system installed there and they couldnt break into 400hp level.
This kid was there with his dad and obviously dumped a TON of money into this car and was getting fed a line of siht as to why the car wasnt making power. Ya know everyone screws up, its how you handle your business when you do that promotes a good or bad reputation for a shop. Just my two cents.
As I stated I did not have a bad experience there, nor was I treated badly, I was simply ther for a reflash
since I was at PF Supercars that day which is about 20 minutes from AAM and they having a special price for flashes at that time. But my observations while ther would have me hesitant to allow them to do any major work on my car, I just felt creeped out listening to the cheap sales pitch.

Someone needs to stop while they're way behind ... And I'm not talking about the OP (Bryce).

I wouldn't say they don't do those upgrades, i'll leave it that. The techs themselves may not have done many yet but if the owner/tuner of the shop says they do that perticular modification I would stick to their word.

Given the history and reputation I don't think many of us will be taking his word for anything.
