Ok, so I got the information packet from the BBB. I've faxed them the information they needed to officially open a case against NNA... Purchase contract, service records, vehicle registration, etc. Cost me $20 to fax it all. Came out to be about 18 pages. Anyway, let's see what happens now that the BBB has all of the documentation.

Good! You Should get a call in a few days, if I remember correctly
they try to get your case resolved in 40 days or so, I am still waiting
for Nissan to call me about scheduling my engine replacement, BBB
said it will be about 2 weeks. The letter I got was on 2/19 so I guess
if I dont hear anything this week then it's time to make phone calls but
please keep me in the loop man and I'll do the same.

Gosh..hate F***ing Nissan. went to vitory nissan for getting my first 1000 miles check up. they call me back in 30mins then asked me where i got my oil change done. i told him at my house. then they said i need to get oil change done from ceritified nissan tech to process OT. WTF? last time they checked my oil level then they topped off the oil level to H then told me to bring it back in 1k miles. spoke to service manager. he said nissan changed bulletin again on Feb 27,2008. he gave me the copy of the bulletin. so i had to pay $38 for oil change. Hate F***ing NISSAN

I called Herb Gordon Nissan in Silver Spring. I was going to schedule oil change and OC test. However, they told me in order to do the test, I need to drop off the car for one day???????????? why? does OC test can be done in a single day?
I'm going to Rosenthal Nissan in VA because i get free oil change for two years! Did anyone did OC test at here?

Perhaps they are just booked and wont be able to get to your car till next day, the only reason they ever kept my car over night was to run compression tests etc. The tests came out fine but they did need to keep the car over the night as they were busy, I can only imagine that this is the reason as to why they are keeping the car overnight. I live in VA so I dont know anything bout that dealer.

UPDATE
Dropped off the Z to Nissan of Chantilly, formerly Victory Nissan. Engine is in hand and ready to go, I will be w/o the car for a few days while engine is installed etc. I will post info on what model engine they are dropping in once it's completed. As far as I know it's a longblock engine.

I started OC test as I'm getting oil change at Rosenthal nissan. they told me come back in 1000 miles.
however I checked my oil level after around 3500 miles(before i changed oil today), the oil level on dip stick was still in the half. so should I assume my car is not burning oil?

If your dipstick is reading half way after 3500 miles then it's still consuming oil but I don't think Nissan would see this as out of norms. Best advice is to check it every 1000 miles and bring it in so that they can document it.
