Did you used to work at the Jiffy Lube in River Hill? That car looks familiar.

Seeing as how we have so many horror stories with dealerships on the forum(especially MidA), it would be a good idea to start a thread with local dealer feedback so we in the Mid-A can weed out the complete crooks, idiots, and screw ups from the dealers that have given us good experiences. If we use that info it can also increase the "good" dealer(s) experience with modded 350zs which can hopefully get us better results when we do take em in. Who knows maybe a thread like that could get stickied, because as much as we hate it, at some point we all have to go to the stealership so why not be informed on which ones actually treat their customers well?

Damage happens in South Florida too - dealer scratched up my console.

From now on, I'm bringing a lunch and a book and staying IN the car whenever they do warranty work.

They'll just have to work around me.

Well I still havent heard back from NNA yet. Yesterday the rep told me she was going to contact the dealership and then give me a call back regarding the issue. I stressed to her so much that I wanted my lip repainted by a body shop and not by whatever fool they have come around on a truck.

Today was the day I was suppose to drop my car off at Norris nissan so the homo could paint my lip but from everyones input and Alberto's personal experience there I decided not to. Im just going to wait to hear from the NNA rep hopefully today and take it from there...if worse comes to worse I will just take the thing off my car and drop it off at my body shop out in columbia, md.

Thats a great Idea you had about starting a local dealer feedback thread. I know I will need a new place to go to for warranty work.

OUR REPUTATION. We do what we say we're going to do. We are motivated by doing the right things for the right reasons.

Norris Ford, Dundalk , Maryland .
Ahem. It's some sort of motivation, alright.

Just like i thought, I keep telling these reps the same **** and once again another specialist will be contacting me regauring the issue...Their favorite line is "What would you like nissan to do for you in this situation?" And I have told the many times i want my car painted professionally in a booth...and just now i told them it doesnt seem like norris nissan is willing to do that so i want to be reimbursed for the damages.

Some good news;

So last week I got an estimate on the damages/re-paint and took it into Alan (service manager) last week at NNA's request. He got back to me today on the estimate I gave him and he told me that seemed reasonable and if i wanted to go head and get it fixed by my body shop that would be fine. He says once I get an invoice saying everything has been paid..bring it to him them they will cut me a check for it.
So I am getting ready to pull this thing off my car and take the lip into the shop ASAP.

Dont take that trolls word for anything-have him put that in writing THEN go to the body shop. Otherwise he can deny it all and argue over the bill.

Clarksville Auto Center off 108 does GREAT work, they fixed my Z back in the day, Id go back to them in a heartbeart. The facility is impressive and clean-just another option.

Hey guys just thought i would give a little update on the situation.

I got my lip repainted by my orginal shop that did it and was also reinbursed by the dealership Nissan norris West by check for the total cost. Just want to say thanks to everyone and Alberto for giving me tips during this whole situation..

Thanks again.

P.S
You will never catch me in or at that dealership for warranty service ever again.
