There are mild mods and wild mods in the NCCA rule book. To be in the mild class I'm fairly certain you can have unlimited mild mods, you're limited to I think it's 4-5 of the wild mods before you're classed as a wild car. I have the rule book at home and will post the "wild" mods.

From memory
Any 2 forms of FI. As in Turbo + nos or sc + nos
Carbon fiber roof
built motor
Widebody or molded bodykit
some weird number of monitors
some weird number of speakers or amps
a certain percentage of the interior resurfaced
relocated radio
color change
air suspension
front AND rear BBK
motor swap
headlight conversions

That's all I can think of right now but there are others, I will post the actual 2007 wild mods later tonight. It's up to the judge that classes you during load in if you're in the mild/wild classes. If you know the rule book you can stay in mild if that's what you want. A vehicle can be modded out the wazoo and not be in the wild class if that's what the owner intended to do.

64 pistons front and 46 pistons rear are going on the car. I just need to save up for that.

so let me get this straight...you supply the car, give it to someone to get it "HIN ready" and you show up with the car? Do you even get to choose your mods?

On a side note, Chantily and Boston are on the same day according to the website Can anyone confirm this, because I need to go to Chantily as well...

Granted HIN is a competition but you have to remember there are TONS of people there with the money and sponsorship backing them up to win these types of shows. The most important thing to remember is just to have fun. Use the time to network get your name out there and make new connections and friends. It’s b.s. when you hear people say winning isn’t everything cause that’s all we are striving for. The only time you really lose is when you go into these types of shows with a chip on your shoulder and walk out at the end without a trophy, nothing gained knowledge and connection wise and a pissed off attitude. Just have fun enjoy the bad *** cars, beautiful women, loud music and all the free shyt you can stuff in the bag they give you at the door. If you don’t win… make the changes and try again in the next go around.

If you enter w/o intentions to win, and just have a great time while you're there then you won in a different sense.
