bought a 2000 528i as a dd for 14,500. Had the sport pkg, sunroof, etc. Sold it after a year because it was a pos. Repairs are so much $$$. Bought a brand new Mazdaspeed6 and happier than ever.

I'm covering my tail on this one. I have a 30-day no labor or parts charge for anything. I'm getting it on Dave's lift to make sure the sub-frame is in decent condition. Plus (as stated before) extended 1 year/12K mile warrany.

Dave (FT) did a pretty thorough check on the engine (Oil, transmission and steering fluid etc.) and performed a test drive. For the most part everything looks good ... especially for a 7 year old 100,000 mile car. I looked at the 30day warranty and it covers frame and weld damage. So if there's any sub-frame damage (which the 2000 e46s are known for) I'll be covered.

I can't say it enough ... the ride is so f'n smooth. The steering and cornering makes driving too easy. I've never driven a bimmer before but I'm starting to understand what other owners are saying when they talk about the refinement.

Well the trunk emblem surface was pealed off when I got it so it gave me an excuse for a slight mod.

Blacking out all of the bmw emblems (hood, trunk, wheels, and steering wheel)

Sure if you don't mind paying for a 1 yr/12,000 warranty that WON"T come with it.

Read the whole thread.

Just added some smoked (the clear is only smoked) LEDs. A pair of these shipped ($270) is about the same price as one OEM LED Z taillight.

Hazards On ... it was hard to get a clear pic of the leds.

Parking lights on.
