So i was planning on buying a digital camera with gift certificates i got for xmas. I had two gift cards with 150 on them put together. i put them in the cubby of my car so i dont forget them. Vallet at my work has been pretty trust worthy so i didnt think much of it. But those two gift cards mysteriously disappear. Now i misplace stuff all the time so i assumed I put it somewhere and cant find it and im 80% positive it was in my car. Then going through my wallet i found three more gift cards that i was going to put towards the camera. I also put that in my cubby, now im 100% positive on that, now that is mysteriously gone. I own the only set of keys to get into my car, and the only way someone got into my car is if they had the keys. I went to security at my job and now they are looking into it. But im pissed at these people for taking advantage of fellow employees so im venting now.

 

Is there any way to cancel the cards balances? Maybe if they were bought for you on a credit card you could have something done, not quite sure though.

 

i have no idea, is it even possible to do that, they were from a bunch of people. our security guy is really good so if theres any possibility of finding out which guy did it he will.

 

Does the vallet know he is under investigation? If not try setting out a little more bait for him (used gift cards...) and a little camera action to catch him.
