2008 USD Practice Event #1
on the 1.1 Mile Patriot Course at
VIRginia International Raceway

Details:
This is event is a one day practice event and is the perfect chance for you to test/tune your car before the season fully kicks off. Total track time is 8 hours, so you have the option of choosing a half day sesssion (4 hours) or full day session (8 hours). The half day sessions are available as either a morning session (8:30AM to 12:30PM) or an afternoon session (1:30PM to 5:30PM). Full day sessions will be from 8:30AM to 12:30PM, 1 hour lunch break, and then 1:30PM to 5:30PM. All entrants must be 18 years or older* and possess a valid NASA membership in order to participate. To obtain or renew your NASA membership, please visit their website and select the USD Region. All drivers are required to wear long pants, closed toe shoes, and long sleeve shirts while on track per NASA HPDE and VIR rules. Helmets are required for all drivers and are not provided.
Misc.:
Camping will be allowed.
Air and water will be available in the Patriot paddock.
Fuel and meals will be available for purchase in the Main paddock.
Paddock speed limit is 3mph and will be strictly enforced.
Grounds speed limit is 10mph and will be strictly enforced.
Other Activities:
When you're not on-track during this event, there will be plenty of other things to see at VIR! NASA Mid-Atlantic will run a High Performance Driving Event (HPDE) both days on the 3.3-mile, 17-turn Full Course, as well as sprint roadracing and a 3-hour roadracing enduro on Sunday. Spectating and paddock access is free for our participants (and encouraged.) Those interested in learning more about the Full Course activities should contact chris@nasaracing.net and/or visit NASA-MA
"Touring laps" behind a pace car on the Full Course will tentatively be available during our lunch break for an additional $10.00 per car. These are open to any licensed driver in any car or truck and offer a great way to get out and see the facility from an on-track perspective.
There is also a circuit cross event on Sunday, February 24th, and go-kart races available. For more information on these events, please visit Get-Fast.

Just waiting for the warm weather.....
I'm up for the Stafford/Fredericksburg meet....
But since this is my 1st full season with the Z....gonna try and make as many as I can......

This is very short notice, but I wanted to see if anyone was going to Maryland US 13. It's 2 weekends from now, and it's just like a nice big track event. It opens the same weekend as MIR and Capitol Raceway in Crofton. So it should be a nice weekend to go there. I'm probably gonna go with a few local people; my friend with an 11 second supra invited me. So it should be exciting if anyone wants to go.
Also, I think someone mentioned meeting up before going to the Ocean City show in June. Im totally down for that, so if we can start a list of who wants to meet and go to that together, that would be cool. I will start a new thread for that.
