Hey everyone, I'm coming to you representing the Maryland Z Club, a sub chapter of 300ZXClub.com

We at MZC have had a BBQ meet the past three years, and this year is no different. I am the main coordinator, and would like to invite anyone in the area to join us.

This meet started in '05 when I challenged Biz, a fellow member, to a wing competition and it's been a BBQ meet ever since.

The complete details are still up for debate, but we're shooting for around the second or third Saturday in June (14th - 21st) around 11am. The location is up for a vote right now on our page of 300ZXClub.com.

oh yes. Wings. and if this goes the way i hope it will...a LOT of them. and i make my own BBQ sauce, a recipe that im sad to say did not win the first Wing-Off , but we did tie. and the last two years, either i missed the meet, or Biz missed the meet. so if he doesn't make it, or doesn't want to compete, i might have to find a new opponent.

 

Hmmmmm, any interest in competition? Maybe a 350 vs 300 wing contest?

yeah man, if you want to go at it...you're the first to show any interest so i might just take you up on that. as the meet progresses i'll let you know.

 

yeah i'm local and I know a couple local Z32 guys so I might be down for this depending on how my schedule works out

definately going as long as nothing is going on, caravan from richmond for those down and willing to hook up with anyone on the way there. As long as its not raining we(me/wife) will do driving shots for those rolling with us to keep us occupied on the highway.

UPDATE GUYS!!!
we have decided to put together, not only Z31/32 vs Z33 wings but a Z31/32 football game. bring your best, we will! no need to "sign up" for football or anything. we'll just seperate31/32's from 33's and off we go. someone (probably a G driver ) should be ref's too!

For the Wing-Off: if this will truly be Z31/32 vs Z33, Biz and I being the resident Chefs will join forces to face the two best of MY350Z's chefs. do your worst!

Ok. I talked to Biz and we've come up with this...

Him and I will join our masterful minds together to take on two of
my350Z.com's greatest chefs. Each team will create three plates of wings. The idea being that each competitor makes a recipe of their own, and one plate that is created from a combination of ideas from the team.

We will need to elect a panel of judges and create a score sheet. We also will need to come up with a prize for the winner(s).

The judges, whoever they are, will take a blind taste test and score each plate from one team (not knowing from which team the wings came) and then the other. The team with the most points will win.

Anyone have any ideas for a prize, or a bet type thing?
