Default plenum polishing.

so far with 1.5 hours into polishing this plenum for the first time, it looks like this:

[after 1 hour]

[after 1.5 hours]-basically 90% of the casting and grit are gone... its almost allll smooth. and soft.

for anyone who has done it or knows how, any tips? after iget all the casting off, do u suggest i high speed buff it or high speed sand it with a high grit?

I always wondered why noone has a white engine bay. Like not just any kinda white "Ricer White", you know the white that attracts attention by everyone not the weaksauce yellowish white, I'm talkin Rice White. Wait till ya'll see my car at HIN.

Get with the program b!tches!

Wet sand 600,800 then 1000 by hand ,if you think you have it looking good then hit it with white rouge with the high speed polishing wheel and a final
with a good metal polish **hint I use never dull (crappy polish) to get all the
black smudge's from the wheel**

If you wet sand it the key to preping the aluminum ,it will look waaay cleaner more like chrome. The wet sand gets all the inperfections out
