Default Vehicle buyback offers from dealer??

ok so yesterday I went to the folks house for Easter Sunday etc. while I was there I picked up some random junk mail that still shows up at thier house. In the mail was an envelope from Jones Junction; the dealer where I purchased my Z. The letter states they will give me 100% of my vehicles current base model value as a trade in "since my 2003 Nissan 350z is in high demand at thier dealership" LOL!!! really? I am going to call today and attemp a '07 or '08 Z prefferably a Grand Touring 6spd uh ohhh

Has anyone gotten one of these letters before? did the dealer hold up thier end of the bargain or is this a scam to get me in the door.

just remember that the dealers version of current base model value is probably different than yours.

The letters are just a way to get people into the dealership to buy new cars. I used to get those letters from the dealer I got service done at when I was in Virginia.

If I part out, I'd probably have a nice down payment (without touching savings) and the letter may give me the upper hand once I'm in there. The possibility of a HR puts a smile on my face!

It's bogus info. All stealerships do it. They make killings on selling used cars.

Their system works like this. Letter goes out, they take your trade in for less than it's worth, sell you a new car at a decent price, sell used car with good markup. Used car = $ for them, New car = $ for them.

Yea I recieved a letter saying a similar thing to that too. I went over to see if I can get an 06(this was last year) and they said I can only get 07s. I asked why not and they said cuz you can only buy new vehicles with this offer.

So I laughed at them and left.

Well I want a new vehicle, and I have read the small print so if theres any BS I'm going to explode in there. I bought my '03 from them and it still has less than 40k miles on it, touring leather, loaded.

The dealer checked and did not see your time here: https://my350z.com/forum/drag/233840-top-25-1-4-mile-times-for-tt-st-supercharger-nitrous-bolt-ons-stock.html.

Probably figured that you needed something faster to make the cut.

Well you should be liable to hold up your end of the deal, I have what is basicly false advertising directed to me personally. It even states my vehicle, it's year, and the mileage when I bought it. It doesn't look like a typical mailer or offer like I usually get so I will be sure to find out.

Procharger is FS brotha, I have constantly ran into walls with this '03 so its time to upgrade or get out of the Z completely and into a BS car to daily and make a time attack car for shetz and giggles

and yes, Jones Bel Air 5min from home (free engine replacement for life my a$$ too!! total BS $5500 later)

anyone at a dealer want to help me out? PM me, I want to trade my low mileage (39,xxx) touring, loaded up for a '07-current Z. My trade can easily be 100% stock, I just need to throw a part-out thread up on here.

1. NO RED!
2. Brembos
3. coupe
4. 6spd
5. Nismo 1.5 LSD on order promptly.
6. best possible deal and I'll but it today

oh yea, can't miss OC with you guys under any circumstances
