Man, What a good day!
Well, I found out today, EARLY this morning, that my class will be graduating early, due to our high average, good performances, and the fact that we are all prior service haha. 1 week less in Keesler, is a dream come true! I will be flying home on the 3rd, and suprising my family early on the 4th
Then, I get home and check my voicemail on my cell phone, and have a message from the Commander of AF ROTC at Mississippi State, in regards to a package I put in a while ago. He said if I want to come, I have a goooood chance to get in. Can somebody say Lt Basinger??? (Maybe, just Maybe....)
THEN, I call my home unit (now the 113th Command Post) and let them know that I am graduating early. My chief told me two AGR (Active Duty slots for Air National Guard/Reservists) positions have opened up, and she wants me to take one. Garunteed job, and I will be promoted when I get home. Can somebody say SrA Basinger!?!?
As I am hanging up with my chief, I get a call from a head hunter, wanting me to work for a company, doing Radio work (my old career field). It sounds interesting, and I will be working for the OFDA is what he told me. Only downside is the deploying as a civilian part. Good part is, its a foot in the door, and with my new emergency management training, I am MUCH more marketable. They offered me 30 dollars an hour....

So yeah, I have a few things to think over, but all in all, a good day
Thanks for listening.

I'm sitting here taking my class survey right now.... LOL
Thanks to everybody again!
Did get bad news, my dad flies out for two weeks the day I get home. When he gets back, I will only see him for 5 days. That's a total of 7 days in the past 14 months...
