AAM came through
There was a thread about 4 or 5 months ago where AAM was getting ragged on . Mike from Altered came in the thread and wanted to make things right with every one he could .
Well after a long wait my fuel return lines have been replaced with the new lines and fittings from thier new return fuel system . I will say I had my doubts I was ever going to get it .
Mike made several promises that day to several people . Did you guys get what was promised to you ?
I did a search to see if I could find the thread for some references , but came up MT handed .

Thats Great!!
Im glad he stood behind his word.
I have been there a few times and never have had any issues. Here is the list of what I had done.
1. Reflash with dyno tune... No issues
2. And back down two different times for dynos.
Not much, but both times were positive experiences.

Booger - Thanks for your patience and glad to see you finally have the lines replaced! It was a long wait for the new kits but we'll worth it IMO.
Let us know if there is anything else we can help out with!

This is good news to hear. I was actually thinking about my lines today as I drove by the road AAM is on...booger, I assume you had the awful gas smell? Any other issues? I swear you could light a match in the garage and it would catch on fire with mine...

No other issue's other than the gas leeching out . The garage smelt like it could go up in flames by lighting a match . Girl friend didnt want the car parked in the garage...lol no chance at that !
The new lines and fittings look great . The shop is almost done with the tuning of the Haltech ems , so Im going to wait about a month to do the fuel lines . Im going to do the dash Injected Performance has http://www.injectedperformance.com/e...D=10375&VID=20 at the same time . Just want to see how the Vortech is going to run at 20psi first .

The E trim is 65k, so I could see that running 20 psi.

The old fuel lines leaked, that is a given, unfortunately that was not revealed until a # of us had it and discussed that among ourselves.
I don't know of anyone that got the return system previously that did NOT have that fuel smell. I have gotten used to it for the most part, (I got the lines that were leaking fixed a while ago) but I do not let anyone smoke near my car or in the garage unless it has been aired out.. :-/

I am glad new lines are being used, and I hope that fixes the problem for everybody. Booger let us know your results when you pull the old lines/fittings and put on the new ones. When I replaced some of my lines, I noticed a lot of the fittings need replacing also, so I had to replace those too. Needless to say I have since spent the cost of the return system again fixing/replacing things.
