Got my suspension installed at F:t, great work. Had a problem few months ago and Dave fixed it free of charge even though he could have blamed the problem on me

Even though I don't plan on keeping my z much longer, if I ever need somethin installed and I cant do it, I'll def ask Dave if he can

I know he doesn't, that's why I posted that. A nice way of saying... well, that part should be obvious haha. He voted "DIY" anyway.

I voted F:T. The customer service is amazing. The care and attention that is given to my car is hands down like nothing I have ever experienced.

I could not be happier. I was involved since day one of the process and kept up to date ALL the time. Dave has helped me learn soooooo much about these cars and he deserves MUCH THANKS for that.

I can only vote for one so naturally I voted for F:T as they are number one in my book. In all honesty there are 3-4 shops i would trust with my car.

1. Function:TUNED
2. Forged Performance (I know Sharif and he's a great guy)
3. MRC

HAHAHA. Yeah, I know right. But I assure you it is no fault of Dave's. I have this little problem when it comes to constantly changing my mind and adding stuff.

Im surprised he hasn't started charging me extra. lol

Even though I am affiliated with FunctionTuned: I voted for F:T because Dave helped me with my ride when the motor blew after 6k miles. I had a turbonetics with 330whp on a dyno jet before the shop’s doors even opened. Dave’s shop, ideas, skill, and integrity are what make the shop what it is. I am not biased because I have been one of the mid a guys since day one; before FT started.

I'm glad this thread has been so informative and didn't turn into a bashing of any particular shop(s).

Also ask him where my free motul is....been rockin' this damn sticker for no reason...

Will do, I'm swinging by tomorrow to grab some Motul and schedule a corner balance.

5qt's 8100 5w30 and a OEM filter $49.99 can't beat that with a stick

I voted for Function:Tuned because Dave did a hell of a job on my nitrous install. Its the little "attention to detail" things you don't know about but notice when you're ripping the stuff back out of the car. You would think that a nitrous install was pretty straight forward, but Dave put in the extra time and effort to route the wires and lines cleanly and securely. I've seen a nitrous job from another shop where the nitrous lines were leaking, and the tech left the radiator fans unplugged and the wires got tangled in the serpentine belt. That was a mess.

Dave also installed my headers for a ridiculously low price, anyone who's ever price shopped that job knows its almost not worth it to install them. Dave not only did the job but also showed me how to do it.

I know JE Import Performance isn't on the list, but James is another one of those guys that really focuses on customer satisfaction. His shop's located in Baltimore and I'd recommend him to anyone who can't or won't make the trip to Dulles to go to Function Tuned.
