guys I think its best to not turn this thread into an arguement thread like the past. I've seen some really beneficial posts in this thread that would help everyone in deciding which shop they'd like to go with when going FI.

+1
I agree
I agree as well, and everyone is going to have their own opinions. I was just simply saying that AAM did an excellent job on Bryce's car, and based on that I would have no hesitation going there. From what I undderstand they are turning the shop around. If I can expect the same quality of work that I saw yesterday, with the same level of customer service they have shown Bryce, as well as myself when I have gone down there- they will definately be my choice of shop when I am ready to tt.

Like it's been said many times before in multiple threads...there are alot of things that go on behind closed doors that most don't know about on these boards. Has Sam had work done at AAM?...I HIGHLY Doubt it....I'll just leave it at that.
Let's not turn this into a battle or argument in order to keep the thread open. People have their reasons for who they voted for and let's leave it at that. You can't argue their opinion and experience.
Personally, Im not an advocate of shops voting in threads like these. It should be kept to the general public. Just not very good business practices imo.

go robbie.
I agree with Robbie.. lets keep this thread clean.
Its more beneficial to the community as a whole to be able to see this thread, research the shop that they plan to use ( Not just here but on other boards like 3si, nasioc etc... since some shops have had threads/posts removed here)
Do your research folks!

To answer the Q: Id go to FT for a stock block set-up. Forged for a build obviously you guys know the choice I made. That is not a stab at Dave, it should also be known Ive trusted Dave with my car before and would not hesitate to go see him again.
LMAO-@ Sam voting for AAM, definetely some behind doors BS there he obviously isnt over hence that vote. LOL @ Bryce and others who dont know that stuff who thinks his vote means anything here.
edit-because of my split I didnt vote.

I went to AAM for a supercharger / utec / tune and haven't run into any problems or issues. The car ran strong for a year and set some decent times at the track.
Currently it is switched over to TT thanks to Dave at Function Tuned. His work and customer service for the entire project was exceptional. There were constant updates during the install process and Dave worked extra hard to get my car finished on time for the DC auto show meet that we had. As a reult, for the rest of the time I own my Z it will be taken to Function Tuned for all work and hopefully future builds.
I do give credit and respect to AAM for their hard work at turning things around. Looking at Bryce's car they are headed in the right direction.

This poll is flawed.
I think you should always do it yourself, however some things can't be done at home, like... dyno tuning.
If need be, take it to Dave, however if its something basic, doing it at home is the best choice.
