Default Rear wiper delete?

Has anyone thought about taking the rear wiper off? I was driving behind another z lastnight on my way home ... and it really looks goofy.

the car looks stupid with the rear wiper. once you get rid of it, you will never miss it.

a pic just to illustrate how much better it looks than a clunky black arm sticking out the side of your hatch:

Most hardware stores sell a cap you can use to cover the hole once you remove the wiper assembly. I think I may have the bag it came in and will post the PN if you need it.

Get rid of the wiper it looks stupid, the G35 does not have a wiper (the Z shouldnt either)

I sell the block-off plate at my work... search for my threads about this... I can get black, white, or chrome. Chrome is in stock and can be sanded and painted.

you may be able to find these at any plumbing store like Ferguson Enterprises (my store) www.ferg.com for locations

it is called a "**** hole cover" LOL (yes I'm serious)

I don't mind at all let me get home and look for it. The one that I got is made out of some kind of soft aluminum. I simply added a silicone sealant to make sure water would not seep in.

There was a guy on 350Z Motoring before it shut down that would sell paint matched caps for the wiper and the nozzle. I wish I still had his contact number, I had a set of his stuff on my old Z. At $15 it was a steal!

Not to mention how much easier it is to wash your car. Mine always would collect water under it a lot and have runs when drying it.

I thought I would miss it, but as soon as you start moving the water rolls off anyway.
