Default Window reprogramming cheap?

I need my passenger window reprogrammed, the stupid thing keeps rolling down when I shut my passenger door. Anybody know somewhere that can do it cheap? I called my dealer and they said it's not covered under my warranty, and its $96....

Here is a good post about the window problems our cars have.

https://my350z.com/forum/maintenance-and-repair/142013-window-motor-repair-replace-motor-brushes-7.html

If you wanna try and diy I'd be down to help since I'm sure one of my windows will fail at some point and I don't wanna pay another $524 at the dealer to replace it.

it's something like, roll down the window all the way, holding onto the button until it's fully rolled down. then holding the reset button on the window motor and holding the window roll up button until it's all the way up, right?

damn sounds like too much work i would try before pulling the panel..get in your car press and hold the switch like albert said untill the window is all the way down + 5 seconds and then pull and hold the switch up + 5 seconds and see if that works. i know it isn't a toyota or mitsubishi but the scion tc's and eclipse's work that way for reinitilizing them! Yea like 30 mins. My passenger window motor died completely though. I just recently bought a new passenger window motor and it'd been working fine.

yusoslo was having problems with his windows... anytime the key was in the ignition the windows went half way down and wouldn't go back up or go any further down.

he left the battery disconnected overnight and the problem went away, dealer was going to charge him $80 just to look at it, so, you might try that.

mine is having problems. Would you be able to lend a hand sometime? It rolls up and then back down a few inches once it hits the top. Plus when the door is opened, it doesn't drop down far enough and the window scrapes when the door is opened and closed.
