Default On Blocks

What a freakin way to start the day. I was awaken at 6 a.m. by my neighbor to find out that my wheels were stolen last night and that my car is sitting in my parking spot on blocks. I feel so violated its ridiculous. I'm waiting for the police to get here and trying to figure out the best way to go about replacing my wheels.

Any suggestions on the best place to get new wheels (stock '06)? I know I can go to the dealer but I don't want to have to pay more than I have to.

The insurance company only gives you enough to cover "refurbished" wheels. Usually about $250 a wheel. I found out that information the hard way when my wheels got damaged back in the winter.

Is it the same for damaging your wheels, as it is as them being stolen?

yup, so replacing them with "used factory" wheels isn't a problem, but no way will he receive enough from the insurance company to get decent aftermarket wheels.

Thanks for the info. The question becomes; do I buy used stock or do I view this as an opportunity to get some new/used aftermarket wheels? Of course, I feel like anything other then stock is just tempting fate that I will be hit again.

Buy some stock '03 Base rims. Hopefully they won't be as expensive, so you may have some cash left over to save up for some nicer aftermarket rims. '03 rims probably wouldn't get jacked either.
