Under the hood is the production 6.0L V8, rated at 361 horsepower (268 kW) and 385 lb-ft of torque (520 Nm). A six-speed automatic transmission with Driver Shift Control backs the powerful small-block engine and complements a four-wheel independent suspension outfitted with unique 20-inch wheels and performance tyres.
Dont even forget APS already are boosting these things... and have been for a few years in Aussieeeeee!

I need all of them to live
I am sure the extra 500 to 1000 a year can be saved in other areas of my(our) life...like $100 dinners on weekends, or nice cell phones...
This gas hike is over rated.. and government inflated. American waist more money on other things like big azz housing and plasma TV's, NASA space programs. I am sick of people (not you in particular bro) complaining, when in fact, if they (me also) looked at their life..90% of it is shizzil they dont need and total luxury.
Am I wrong? Nice clothes, watches, cable, playstation games, iPods, sub zero fridge, huge washer and dryers, expensive sunglasses, laptops, rings, jewelry, hair cuts (women), steaks and lobster meals....I can go on forever.
its all relative.
We are all waistful...stop waisting and drive a car that makes the sacrifice worth living for!
Me for My350z Mayor 2009....lol

Buicks version..
Maybe they are bringing back the GS Coupe, Skylark Coupe, or the Grand National?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Holden could get a better price, and make it a more viable business case,
selling it's Coupe60 in the US as a Buick Gran Sport.
Of course a Twin Turbo DI 3.6 V6, with boost cranked up for 600hp, could
make a Grand National version GM's fastest accelerating sedan based vehicle of all time.

twin turbo V6 Mustang coming soon!
According to a recent article in Motor Trend Magazine Ford is looking to add a twin turbo Ecoboost V6 engine to the Mustang lineup for 2010 in an attempt to meet the 35mpg CAFE standards by 2020. The Ecoboost V6 is said to be capable of nearly 415 horsepower with the torque of a V8. However they aren't dropping the V8. Instead their plans are to produce three Mustang models which include the naturally aspirated 4.0L V6, the twin turbo Ecoboost V6, and possibly a 5.0L V8. Word is that the Ecoboost and V8 models would be very close in cost so buyers in that price range would get to decide which they prefer. The lifespan of the V8 could depend on that decision.
The 5.0L V8 would expect 325-350 horsepower from the new powerplant says the article. Another surprising revelation is the possibility of the new 5.0L showing itself early in a limited edition Mustang, possibly a modern version of the beloved Boss 302.
Motortrend went even further in predicting that the Shelby GT500 wouldn't die after two years as Ford initially intended. Although they're still testing different powertrain configurations the rumor is that Ford is clearly looking at using a supercharged 5.0L V8 with the (540hp) 5.4L of the GT500KR being standard for the short term.
EITHER WAY>>>GAS PRICES ARE NOT BEING THOUGHT OF IN THE WORLD OF PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING>>> NOT WHEN YOU LOOK AT HP RATINGS GOING UP AND UP AND UP!

The 240 Returns!
The 2008 Nissan 350Z starts at an MSRP of $28,150. However, you can expect that price tag to get a little increase when the next-generation 2010 Nissan 370Z makes its debut with a bigger engine and GT-Rs 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
So what is Nissan going to do for all its sports car enthusiasts that can’t cash out all that dough? Or better yet, what is Nissan’s answer to Toyota and Subaru’s rear-wheel-drive sports car that’s expected to start under $20,000? A successor (if you will) to the 240SX.
According to Road&Track, the third-largest Japanese automaker has plans to offer an ‘affordable sports car’ a year earlier than Toyota and Subaru. Meaning the so-called successor to the 240SX with rear-wheel-drive will arrive by 2010 after being discontinued in 1998.
