Default Any guitar players? Current or aspiring?

So yea, any of you all play guitar on here? Main reason I'm asking is because I want to sell some of my old gear, but I wasn't gonna bother posting it if nobody on here cared to see it.

Anybody out there play or want to learn how?

I'm trying to sell my Crybaby original wah and possibly my amp. The wah has been used like twice, it was an impulse buy while i was in my Kirk Hammett phase, sue me. lol I bought it new for $70 so I'm looking to get like $55-$60 for it.

The amp has been used quite a bit, but it's still in great shape. It's a Crate GT30 combo amp. It's 30 watts, decent volume for its size and it sounds good. It's got digital reverb and chorus built in and I've got the 2 button footswitch that goes with it to switch channels and turn the chorus effect on and off. I'd like to get $200 but I'm willing to go $175.

Pick up is best for me, but if you insist on shipping we can work that out.

Thanks for your interest.

Let me think about it.
Hows the distortion channel? What about heavy tones? (I play rock)

The distortion is pretty decent. It's not a Marshall but then again it's just a budget 30 watt ya know? My only two beefs with it are that the distortion is a little digital but that's to be expected with any solid state amp. I've been running an Ibanez Tube Screamer (TS-808) in front of it and it does wonders to warm things up and boost your output a little bit. The other thing is that it does make a bit of noise when you stop playing, but that's a trait that crates have across the board. It's been a good amp for practice and small jam sessions but I need to upgrade to something a little bigger.

Just a sidenote I'm a metalhead too. I'm a huge fan of Lamb of God and All That Remains and this amp has done me pretty well with it's distortion for that application. If you need more gain or it's not the tone you're looking for then a metal zone pedal can fix that right up, lol.

Thanks again.

good to know rob. ill let you know if im gonna buy it.

You should look into Line-6 if youre in a budget. I am using a 175 halfstack line-6 with a boss me-50 and the sound is great.

thanks, sinan.

Yea my next amp is gonna be Line 6 spider 3. I'm prolly gonna get the 75 watt combo. I could go 120, but I'm not gonna be using it for huge gigs, and if i need anymore volume it can be mic'ed.

Anyway, as it stand right now it's $200 for the amp w/footswitch and $60 for the wah, but this can be negotiated to a point.

Thanks,
Rob
