This is one of the big reasons why I am over the whole modding thing... when it comes time to move on, you are stuck with a car that is less desirable, and worth less than if it were stock. Too much time, money and effort wasted, if you ask me. If your Z is paid off, just keep it.

Why keep it and still have the maintenance costs associated with it? Not to mention the Personal Property Tax, and registration / tags etc etc etc. I'll pass.. and just sell her. I know that by not parting out, i'll be losing some money ... but I know that going into modding the car.

I've gotten offers at shows too, but that was when I was not even thinking about selling her.

I've not really put any feelers out yet on my Z. I'll prooly post some flyers up at Summit Point when I head up for RedLine Time Attack.

Im thinking about the day I pay off my 05 G and the 06 Jetta GLI, how much property I can buy. Then once I sell all the land...i will buy:

2002ish model GS300 with Supra conversion..6sp and built out eng
2008 Caddy CTS V bone stock 450RWHP 550 Crank
97ish Ford F150 lighting with NOS...11.8s all day at the track.
M35 with a 6sp conversion..built motor with JWT set up for the grocery runs.
2005 NSX in Oranage or Blue
2007+Toyota Tundra just because
Supra TT daily driver 700wheel
Finish my 1978 CJ5 complete with more chrome than a home depot kitchen display.
Along with my 10 car garage with complete 3 bd rm apartment, hot tube and built in kegs on tap.
The house has to be bigger than the garage so that will be about 5,000 sq ft.
maybe get a Buick Grand National also....always like those cars.
600 kawi Ninja with a turbo 280RWHP! for days I want to go really fast.

I would not part out the car....its time vs money. Right now time is cheap...hell its free. Just wait for that realistic offer, then take it....They are not going to stop selling or making Lambos anytime soon.

Also research your parts, repair and maitenance.... only car worse to repair a lambo is a high end Audi...
