Default TPMS Question

I have an 04 base model no TPMS in the tires. Now I have a friend that is giving me 18s with TPMS in the tires. My question is, do I need a module so the TPMS can sense it or is the module already included in the Zs and its just "dormant"?? or what??

I need help

Should work reguardless of wheels as long as the TPMS are programmed for your car. I have a base as well and they do have TPMS.

You HAVE to take it to the dealership and they use this "magic wand" to scan the TPMS and program it for you. Only the dealership can do that so that means they can charge however much they want!

Some tire shops can do it also. I worked a Pep Boys and we have the magic wand. However I never tried it on my car.

The Nissan Magic Wand is about $75 to have them programmed. I had one reprogrammed and that's what it was.
