Need My New Trunk Painted & Installed - Silver
I want to install a new trunk and have it painted. I need someone who knows what they are doing and for a good price. I don't want my quarter pannels to be painted. Anything from $200-$300 MAX!!! Do you guys have any recommendations? Looking for NOVA, but willing to travel to DC, MD even little further if I can get it for that price and quality work. Color is Silver!

I had another shop paint match another part using my gas gap's paint and it came out pretty close. I'm willing to not have the 100% perfect match look, but I know it can come almost 95% close to paint if shop is experienced and has the tools.
I wouldn't mind, but on these type of cars it raises two issues.
1. Extra Labor that I would have to pay + extra paint etc...
2. Raises question for future buyers of my car on why the quarter pannels were randomly painted. Besides, factory paint FTMFW!
Btw, do you own a Tint Shop? My tint is peeling off, (Not your work) and I want to take it off and put new film + Change the film to 30 Dark Film from I think it's at 50% and the silver version one. Can you give me a quote please.

Impossible, if you are concerned with it matching and are meticulous about the way your car looks you can look forward to spending more money than that. You cant paint the trunk of a 95 civic for $200. Good luck.

I got a guy that can hook you up with some paint work. I can ask him for a quote if you'd like. You'd just have to drop it off at my workplace and come pick it up later in the evening.

Thanks for all the responses guys, keep them coming. I responded to the PM's as well. I also found out some shops my self, called them and most of them offered 300-400 prices over the phone. I'm sure in person, I can get it just in a sweet spot in the 300s. Maaco even, offered 100% color match and 7 year paint and warranty for only $218 which was even crazier.
