Default Its time to start my project...

Well I am sure most of yall dont know me or ever here from me but oh well... I just got back from Iraq about a month ago and while i was over there i was on the sale forums like everyday trying to find my parts. Well the look is over and all my parts in the garge so there is no better time than now to start the overhaul... I have a '05 6mt w/ pretty much only bolt on's, coilovers and 3.9 final drive. But I got a few things to fix that: Vortech V2 w/ 2.87, RC 550's, Strup headers/test pipes, Utec, Brembos, Aps oil pan, cusco a-arms and i am going to weld the diff(i am sure i will get blasted for this!! haha)... i think that is it.... any tips yall have would be great!! i have all the time in the world so no rush but would like to have it done by the middle of Jan. again any help yall can give me would be great!! later

3.9FD and a Vortech making any kind of decent power would be worthless for traction IMO...

Go spend 12-15 months in a combat zone as an 18-21 YO kid then ask that question!

Thanks for your service and welcome back safe and sound.

Welcome back. I know that feeling of having tons of cash comming back from the sandbox and blowing it all on preformance. Just make sure you have a salary cap and chose a respectable shop to do your work if you are not doing it yourself. Look around and ask question from members and on the forums. I remember comming back from Iraq my frist time and blowing large ammounts of money on my 300zx only for it later to antique in my front yard back in louisiana with a blown engine and no money to replace it. Must admit though, it was worth it when it worked....Welcome back none the less
