If you speak of "educated individuals," any intelligent man/woman will present credible factual information when fighting a case. In a court of law, he/she shall not go up to the jury and print out college papers from a non-credible source and tell the judge... "well.... it was the first source of information I ran upon..and.. and.... uhhh uh... uh.. I mean... there were others out there!" and then go about criticizing someone else's education level?

girl and she told me something pretty harsh. She said her mother forbade her from dating Blacks for fear that their bloodline would be polluted by darker skin. She said her mom purposely married and got pregnant by a white man so that each generation would reap the benefits of whiter skin and that marrying someone dark [like me!

She fits your description of being born and raised in Mexico... but she is also a Civil Engineer... so she is not one of the bunch...
Oh well! She said that she would rather be called Mexican as Hispanic is used as a generalization. But she would not mind to be called like that unless you are taking **** about her or their race.
Although, it is the opposite for the rest!!! All other countries will get pissed if you called them Mexican or Salvatorian and you miss!!!

It is a very rural thing that should be not laughed at since it is due to ignorance an lack of studies or education.
It is not blood related though, it is just that they like light skin people, so they want light skin kids.
