They don't mind us hanging out as long as we aren't doing burnouts or drinking or vandalizing anything. Pick up your trash. MTA loves exhaust tickets so don't rev your car up real loud. Mind any other cars that are parked there and when the Cops come by to check up on us be respectful so they let us stay. They usually just come by to say hey and lay down the rules and then they leave so USE COMMON SENSE. If you are gonna race (which I am not condoning) go out on 50 or far away from us.

we had about 30 cars this past tuesday. in the summertime i have counted at least 100 cars.

 

Deliverance - might I suggest that we stay away from any parking lots that are visible from rt 50? It just attracts cops.

 

Well as long as we stop racing right in front of where we meet it shouldn't be a problem but yeah i hate that parking lot. Lots of space but gives it away too easy!

How far is it from say silver springs?

 

Silver Spring (not pleural) is about a 1 hr 15-20 min drive depending on Beltway traffic. Meets start at 9 so traffic should be reasonable. Don't forget $2.50 for the bridge toll if you don't have an EZ pass.

 

i bet you could cut that down to 45 mins

 

You get to places pretty quick when you drive 110 mph!
