damn thats why I dont bother with capitol.. ridiculous lines, and their tech is really strict.. they never let me use my helmet either... I prefer mason dixon, much smaller lines, and tech is easy..

Agreed...I also tend to run faster at mason for whatever reason.

I always hated the long lines and the way they play favorites with the older cars at Capital but I have never had a bad experience with tech there before last Sunday. Normally they look under the hood for 5 secs and thats it. This time they heard the slight rattle and looked under the car. They even checked the tag of my helmet. I could see if I had a 10 sec drag car but its a mostly stock street car! If it wasnt for the fact that Capital was so damn close I would never run my car there again.

Let me know the next time you guys go. I just put Stage 2 on the STi and I'm curious to see if I can break into the 12's.

I saw a Z with nitrous do 13.80's and another one with bolt ons do 14.80's when I was there sunday.

There is always a nice group, this time should be even better considering people are getting more and more experience, making the competition even tighter. Last year 13.4 -13.5 was pretty good but this year it might be par for some of the NA Zs. Now if Sondra would just stop BS'n and put the nitrous on her Nismo! lmao!

J/k I love you Sondra!

I definantly expect to be in the 13.4's for the mason event (hopefully better). I am looking forward to getting some head to heads with other similarly modded z's.

yeah that was me but none of those runs were on spray...for some reason my zex "brain" wasnt opening the selonoids...it would hit for a sec then shut off...my pathetic times were due to bald street tires and missing gears....i had a terrible sunday...last year i pulled consistant 13.2 on 20" rims with spray and less bolt ons mods (headers and test pipes)

yeah, i can relate. With street tires I was pulling crappy times as well. I made 2 passes and left within 30 min.
