Default Where to get new oem clutch install near Northern Delaware

2003 Z Base model. My clutch is beginning to slip in 3rd and 4th gear. Anyone know a GOOD shop to get a new OEM clutch installed? I called Porter Nissan in Newark for a quote and they said $ 2350.00 with a new flywheel!!!!. I was shocked . I used to get clutches replaced in my 94 Supra for about $ 900.00. Whats the deal? Thanks in advance.

If you have the parts Function Tuned installs them for about 400. A JWT clutch and flywheel combo is about 800 and feels just like stock. $1200 total. Might as well upgrade to a JWT instead of paying double for OEM parts.

Thanks you guys. I called J Tune Performance. A guy named Hok suggested I go with ACT clutch and flywheel. This place is the old CarV2 with new owners. I'm waiting for a quote as I type this.

It isn't too terribly painful to do it yourself and save some cash. Since you're in Delaware, I'd even let you borrow my transmission jack to make it even easier.

Just installed ACT lighten flywheel and exedy stg 2 over the weekend. A buddy in Lynchburg charged me $200 plus $30 of gas to drive down. No thanks on humping the tranny but it is possible to do it yourself.

Didn’t realize that Delaware was in the mid-Atlantic. Did they move it?

Yes , 1500.00 for parts and labor. Its worth it to me, nothing worse than a slipping clutch in a sports car.
