alarms????
i am reading alot of stories about people getting their rims stolen and ****, i'm thinking about buying rims but i need some kind of protection on them?? what can i do about it ???
Everyone is saying regular alarms and wheel locks are pointless... I'd invest in an alarm with shock sensor and 2 way pager... Only way to save your stuff is to catch them in the act... once they are gone, they will most likely never be seen again...

Yup. Syrus is the name I remember. I'm actually really good friends with one of the owners of RAM. Alex. His new shop on E.Gude is awesome. Thanks for the info Steeeeze. I'll check him out.
+1 for Cyrus and ICE (In Car Electronics). I had my 2-way alarm installed there with a ton of bells and whistles and he did an awesome job. Everyone told me that I will have to loss a keyfob when doing remote start on my car but he installed the alarm with remote start without me losing a keyfob.

When your alarm goes you get notified on your keychain and it tells you what is being done to your car (Broken driver side mirror, Broken passenger side mirror, trunk opened, left side door opened, etc). Its nice cause depending on your alarm it has up to a 1 mile radius. The remote start is also nice for the winter (wamring up your car while you get ready to go to work).

Remote start shouldn't be installed on manual transmission for that reason. Some transmissions have a wire you could tap to detect if it in neutral. If a car has that then its safe to install a remote start cause you could tap that wire and first check if it’s in neutral before starting the car otherwise its a bad idea to install remote start on a manual transmission car.
