Default Wreckless driving case is over

Finally , I am done with my wreckless driving ticket. To all of you, who gave my really good advice and support, thanks a lot. I was charged to drive 55 on 35 zone . I went to court by myself, plead guilty with explanation.. But , it seems like the judge did not like my explanation.

I said I am not really familiar with Sterling-Herdon Area since I am living in MD. I started a new job just a month before I got a wreckless driving and honestly i did not know the street that I was driving 35 mile speed zone..

Anyway officer told me that I work on that street where she gave me the ticket which was a ******** and big lie. At that time, I was not be able to interrupt and told that I work in a different location..

So, I paid 100$ plus $56 for court charges . And this nightmare is over.. By the way, I am fine with $100 charge for my mistake however this $56 court charges is total ********. I am paying my fine for my mistake but why the court costs ? If the court costs are $10 15 even 25 , makes sense but $56 way too much.

At least your fine wasn't some crazy amount of money. However, when i got my speeding ticket i believe my court fee was more than $56...so your a little more luckier than me. Fairfax county is a b*tch

If you start looking at how much judges, security guards, receptionist and such make and you'd find out that $56 just covers that couple minutes they spent on you.

The $56 is for wasting the judges time. Figure he makes $80,000/year or $40/hour.

You are just going to have to charge this one to the "game". Game being breaking the law. Just be more careful.

The true questions is...Did you get any points? Forget about the money if you didn't get any points.

If you have no points you have no reckless (I think), what are you complaining about then? $56? Really?

Reckless was decreased to regular speeding ticket, that is why there is no points. Yes, i do complain for $56 because it can be a really easy regular speeding ticket if it was in MD. But, since it was in VA, it depends on the mood for the officer, most of the time I guess. I saw a lady today in the court who got a speeding ticket for doing 55 in 35 zone at the same street where I got my wreckless driving ticket...

That would easily be paid for by the 9 a.m. court time, in one court room.

then a cycle...For each and every hour
