so yesterday driving up 210 in a 50 mph zone i was with a group of about 10 cars all going about 65 mph. I was in the middle of the pack and all of a sudden a cop comes out of no where, cuts off the person behind me in order to pull me over. wtf!!! singled me out of the pack!! it seems i only get pulled over by state troopers and they are always *******s!

So this will be my 4th ticket with this car, got a lawyer for my first one and got away with community service on a 2 pt 25 mph over ticket. so now i have 3 tickets pending. two of which are 2 points (one 15 over and the other 25 over) and another one which i already have a court date for where the cop marked it down to 9 over. right now i have 1 point on my license from years ago that wont go away b/c i keep getting tickets.

I'm looking for advice on this guys, anything you can offer. getting myself out of these tickets, beating the system, talking to cops, anything!! Let me hear from your experience and please only MD folks. VA is totally different.
slow the **** down or buy a prius!

Back to the topic.. have you thought about trying the old school rescheduling the court date trick?
Are you talking about rescheduling the court date to a date that the cop may not show up for? please tell me more if you have done this before.

and yeah i have a radar detector, the main problem is most of these cops that get me (state troopers) are always running laser. the escort will not pick up the laser until it is already pointing right at you and already reading your speed giving no time to slow down.

Yes I have done this many times and so did others. How do you think I have clean record driving around a rice bucket like mine?

It's not guaranteed... But the way the scheduled court dates for traffic tickets is that they put all the cases belong to the same cop on the same day so the cop only needs to show up for like an hour or so and clears all the cases. So when you reschedule your court date, it totally throws that idea off and you might be the only case belongs to that cop for that reschedule court date. Got it? So that way there is a much higher chance that the cop might not show up (due to other priorities) and you will be off the case automatically.

I thought everyone knew about this trick.. But again it's not guaranteed and you need to reschedule with something very reasonable!

I know this is so a week and a half ago, but since you probably havent gone to court yet for the ticket, 1st off getting the date rescheduled is probably not an option, it used to be but I dont "think" it really is anymore. 2nd go to court because the cop "might not show up" but he probably will. The only thing you can do is beg the judge to forgive you and basically youre at the mercy of whatever judge you get that day. if you plead not guilty the judge can slap the crap out of you in fines and points etc if you plead guilty then hes pretty much limited by the limits of the existing fine/points. Just go to court and while youre sitting in the room youll get a better idea on that day depending on that specific judge and his attitude what to do. a laywer is always good but cant always help, and could cost a bit of cash. The judge usually will like that you got a lawyer (get one that works in the area where you got the ticket, he'll know the judge, they might even be friends) thats your best bet. Good Luck! Mostly they just want your money and mostly people dont want points and thats what its all about anyways.....
