Default 2009 Sport Compact Shootout

Just putting this up for some of the guys that like to hit the drags. Its an excellent opportunity to meet the turbo guys from Blouch and smack down some Evos and WRXs.

2009 Turbo Sport Compact Shootout

Blouch Turbo and CBRD have teamed up to bring you a new event for 2009. The Turbo Sport Compact Shootout is sure to become one of the premiere racing events of the year.

Below are the outlined classes for the event.

Top Turbo:

8 low ET qualifiers (4 EVO vs. 4 STi)

Heads up, first to the finish. Cash awards.
This eliminator is restricted to EVO's and STi's only.
Reason: It's the sponsors area of interest. Plus it's the biggest rivals.

Wildcard 8: 8 cars closest in ET. Heads up, first to the finish. Cash awards

Hot Street: Top half of the field, handicap, auto dial in. With Performance Run Under in effect. Trophies

Jr. Street: Lower half of the field, handicap, auto dial in. With Performance Run Under in effect. Trophies

Fast FWD: All front wheel drive cars, handicap, auto dial in. With Performance Run Under in effect. Trophies

Exhibition: Real race cars, or any car that is not street legal, heads up first to the finish. Cash awards

All competitors must be street legal. Licensed, inspected and mufflers. Any tire is permitted. Any car not meeting these rules will run in exhibition.

We're keeping it all pretty simple. Sort of like a big Friday Night/Stop Light Drags event, but just for Turbocharged Sport Compact entries.

FYI: These eliminators are not cast in cement and can be modified after reviewing input from competitors. But as it stands, we're getting a lot of positive feedback.

We want to add that we'll need your support in helping us make this event a success and an on going annual event. We appreciate any help/suggestions you can give up.

Just as an FYI, when I first got my Z I went to CBRD to see about dyno time and was told that they don't work on VQs because they are crap and are not meant to make power. When my car gets back I will hunt down every Evo this asshat mods and hurt their feelings like its my job. The owner, Chad Block, drives a red GTR.... hilarious.

Its a rail car I think she bought it for like 20-24k??? Somewhere around there then rebuilt the engine. Its freaking sick. Pure alcohol engine and everything makes my eyes tear and I have to walk towards the front of it when its on lol. Its estimated but not dynoed to be bewteen 800-900 HP and it weighs liek next to nothing lol.

I went to the shop where she gets allot of work done when the engines are out of them you can lift the front up...

I would love to get to take a pass in it

Just look for a purple drag with Baldwin motorsports on the side When you get back we will have to go for a track day regardless if she lets me run or not.
