UPDATE:
Sorry SR, but the RB had me at Hello
Due to some thought, research, and conversing. We’ve decided to go with an RB swap vs an SR
This should make it all the more interesting. If everything works out the way its supposed to, We should have the motor by next week..therefore putting us slightly ahead of schedule
I'm SO excited

OK now for the long awaited pictures from the past Sunday and today. Enjoy!

Starting on Sunday with more of the KA24DE tear down. Luckily we were able to get help from Paul.

Now that the old motor and trans are ready to come out (We didn't have an engine lift that day so it'll actually come out when we find a place to put it, its all loose), today we went ahead and picked up the RB20DET from JEI (Japanese Engine Import). Thanks again Phil. And a special thanks goes to JB for letting us store the engine in his garage for the overhaul and clean. Also to Paul and Zack for helping me unload it off the truck.

To be continued....Thanks.

Yea me too. I can't wait to drop it in and fire it up. This is my first swap into a 240, let alone it being an RB motor. I wish I had done this long time ago for myself. LOL.
