Woody you wish there was. If you were in F&F Tokyo Drift then you could have been the REAL cowboy. Hahaha
Oh BTW, my mom just returned from Hawaii with some cool Japanese car magazines for me. I'll have to take some pix and load them up here. AND I got a wicked Domokun shirt too hahaha

Anyone know how to rebuild a coilover?...... No instructions came with the rebuild kit thingy.
Btw, you can't be jdm if you're over 5'5. Squinty eyes is also a MUST!

If you don't know how, just take it to a shop because there is plenty of room for error in this process. You basically need to take the entire coil apart and replace all the seals, bearings, etc., then you put it back together in reverse order, and then you have to replace the fluid in it and then charge it.

^I would have to agree with him. While I'm plenty comfortable installing coilovers, I don't think I'm confident enough in myself to rebuild one and trust it on my car haha

I sure as **** am not doing anymore. I've done a few out of courtesy and some for cash, but it's such a hassle. Absolutely never again. I'll install springs and coilovers, but no more rebuilds.

I wish I was 5'6.
A friend of mine did a coilover rebuild for another friend of mine, it wasn't too bad actually. BC's have a rebuild cartridge, basically take off the piece that connects to the knuckle, the ride height thing, spring, and pillow mount along with the dampening thing. While they were doing the rebuild I was doing something else so I complete missed it. I think I'll have Andrewtech do it, I don't wonna get shot by a spring. It just might hurt a little.

If you have a compressor, you'll be fine. Just make sure the compressor is a good one. I have a picture somewhere of what happens to a garage door when a loaded spring takes off and goes through it. This is why I stopped buying Harbor Freight junk when I need it like yesterday.
