Default Rear Axles Clicking

Hey folks,
What's a decent price to pay a mechanic to remove, grease and reinstall my rear axles to get rid of the clicking?

Not worth it!!! Just let it be. It'll come back in a month or a few weeks.

Dont do it, this guy makes his shop dog hump her leg. You may get your car fixed, however your dignity is lost forever.

+1. I had to pay for it though, cuz it doesn't apply to the 06's... so it came out to about $80...

Hmmm. If the dealer says no then I'll see what Shinny can do for me. I'll bring scooby snacks to keep the humper off of me.

Thanks for the info guys.

Will the dealer blame it on my lowering springs if I take it to them?

Got mine fixed under TSB, lasted a year, then it came back. I've learned to live with it just like the grease streak on the windows. I'm so used to it, i don't notice either anymore.

BTW after I did a bunch of suspension mods the clicking went away. I think it's when I put on swaybars and endlinks that's when the clicking went away completely.

Could be! My factory endlinks pop and creek in the back when set all the way stiff on my Hotchkis sways. When i backed down a hole on the bar the noise went away.
