Hey Guys just wanted to throw out a goodbye. I'm moving to Texas in 2 weeks and lost some of your numbers.. Bigslim, Polarbear... I'll miss you guys!

Abilene... 
from what I understand it's the same as nowhere.
There's not a drift track within reasonable distance, and the drag strips there are 1/8 mile.... looks like the only entertainment there are dirt box cars and a half *** oval shaped speedway. FAIL
On the flip side, the Mall of Abilene does have a Buckle.

Also, around the DFW, there's 2 drag strips you can go to: Texas Motorplex in Ennis and Dallas Raceway (pretty much brand new drag strip that opened this year) in Crandall. You can give the rest of us the review of the tracks in mid-A vs the craptastic ones in TX - you'll see what DA does to your time here.
There's also Houston Raceway Park in Baytown, if you want to go south. Either way, they're all far away from you though.

Yeah, Abilene blows.. from what little I know of that place. Move the the DFW Metroplex and you won't have that issue.
Also, around the DFW, there's 2 drag strips you can go to: Texas Motorplex in Ennis and Dallas Raceway (pretty much brand new drag strip that opened this year) in Crandall.
