Size does matter?
I was going to get the nitto neo gens. they dont have the OEM size. (225 and 245)/45 r18.
Should I/Can I go with the the 225 245 40 R18?
Is there another size that is recommended?

Yes I know wider is better. I was more asking about the sidewall height.
The only bigger sizes they have are a 235 40 18 and a 275 40 18. I assume they would be too big for my stock touring wheels.

I really wanted to try the neo gens to see if the stronger side tread holds off the feathering at all. Alignments and stuff work fine and the tires last but they still get a little noisy after a while.

Bridgestone RE01-R... or did they come out w/ RE11's, I can't keep up.
Buy them and thank me later =)
Edit: "RE011" is what you want. After that, you never want to buy another brand tire again... they're not the most "cost effective" tire, but it will grip like you're on rails.
