my situation is a little different, my dad has a place out there, and when I went abroad the car was put in his name etc...So it doesnt matter what my license says... it just worked out easier as I was in London, then came back and bounced to PA etc...so it doesnt matter what my license says....

but I would assume your license would have to match up.... now that I am back in DC (and it looks like I am staying) I need to figure out what to do as well....

but since Alberto can change his address, its still probably an easier option..

Then all my mail would go to OC though, thats ghey

There has to be a way around this crap, outside of handing snaggletooth a bill and asking him to give me a 2yr exemption.

Im almost positive you cannot use any PO boxes to register any vehicles, trailers, etc in any county in MD

Somebody has to know somebody here, with many of us in need, $20 a pop can go along way (20 X us all!) for that guy/girl.

My brother did option number one with his max. Took the test and failed then had a shop give him a reciept for a certain amount and he was waived. They way shop reciepts look you could probably type one up yourself and take it to them but you didnt hear that from me lol.

Vehicles registered to senior citizens over 70 and over who drive 5,000 miles per year or less (if co-owned, both owners must be over 70).

Alberto,
"sell" it to a grandparent or someone you know over 70 and prove the mileage per year is less then 5,000.

BTW I went right thru the test with my tyest pipes on the car...no codes.

Does the shop need to have any sort of certification? Is the receipt in some kind of standard format or each shop has its own?

I cant believe there still isnt away to get around this. Would it pass if it was "sniffed"? I.E. can you ask them to do the roller check and have it pass? I mean I know you dont want some schmuck driving your car but is it a possibility? Maybe make it run really lean and adjust the rev limiter so they cant get into it?

(you would want it to run lean right or am i F'ing up my thoughts on this?)

Ive even thought of setting the rev limiter at 1200rpm's so I can yell at the dbag trying to pull my car into the test bay for revving it too high. Start a complaint w/manager and ask for an exemption due to retard who cant drive a stick. LMAO

The rollers would be a clearance issue, but its not a good enough test. With no cats even running lean it wouldnt come close to passing, the sniffers numbers would be like 100X the norm at idle.

Do the CEL delete mod... http://forum.355nation.net/forum/how...ight-pics.html

Works for me, been clear for 3+ months, but then again I'm not FI, but do have HFCs.
