so i met my wife yesterday morning at the annapolis mall nordstrom before a doctors appointment. we parked around 9:40am and i hopped into her car while we waited for the store to open at 10am. all of a sudden this silver chevy malibu (i think) pulls up. a guy jumps out and starts taking pictures of my z then gets back into his car and rolls out. i was caught off gaurd and was like wtf. i wish my car was clean for the photoshot. i guess the guy was admiring my car, but it was weird.

here is a pic of my car. ultra yellow with the wheels color matched. i have the taillights and turn signals blacked out. i will be getting my roof painted black sometime in the spring.

 

^ That car is screaming to have its picture taken. Plus, if the dude was really trying to scout, he wouldn't do it in the morning (generally). Haven't you seen gone in 60 seconds? They do all their scouting at night.

 

There's [IMHO] only two reasons to take pics of a complete stranger's car:
a) car theif
b) he's going to post it up online to ridicule you

Car looks fine to me, so I'd invest in some alarm upgrades if I were you!

Why would you want to paint the roof black anyway?

 

It will either be gone by next week or in the ricer thread on all major forums I'd hope for the first and then you can start over by not doing that to a Z.. Sorry I'm cranky cuz the neighbors kid woke me up at 5AM!!!
