Default Good word about a place!!!!!!!

I came across a place on pulaski highway that had a set of fenders i have been looking for about two months for my gto and let me say that the place is top notch and wish i woulda went there with my Z for there service. Some may not know what place im talking bout but, the people that do know where im talking about know why i wont say the name of the place because i dont think there sponsers on this site and a mod would most likley delete the thread

Anyways i strongly recomend looking them up. I know i will def take the gto down for a tune when i get the blower on it

JE Import Performance? I don't think telling people that you had good experience with a non-sponsor shop is inappropriate.

did they give you a sticker? I see stockish cars all over my area with the "JE Import Performance" sticker or whatever it says since I guess I live local to them somewhat. I have seen a handful of sloppy mazdas, on eof the dudes smells like cat-**** and is known for that actually.

They sell universal endlinks that kind of caught my eye, glad to hear they are reputable.

What makes them top notch? They had a set of fenders?
Reminds me of people taking about *insert shop* and how they're such a great shop because they ordered a part, they had it in stock and shipped it to them, yay!

Drop $10K+ on random parts or labor and then give a review. Many shops are great the first few times you go in, weird how wanting to get new customers makes a shop seem super nice.

Just for the sake of the shop and to let others know about it and give feed back, could you post the address and name? If this forum has an issue of posting a shop name or address of a not banned shop, then I'd get up and leave right now as would a lot of other members.

jeffie, fair enough but i have to disagree reason for not posting address or name is it has been awhile since i have kept up with things on this forum ie i dont own a 350z anymore! And the last time someone posted about a none sponsered shop the post always was deleted hence no name no address or even a review my intent was not a review. " TOP NOTCH" Was my opion on the shop being there for a lenght of time talking to the people there and seeing several of there LS swaps and other cars they had. Everything was clean no messes or clutter laying around. To me it was a shop being run very well, and yes i did buy just fenders. Straight and in great condition gto fenders run anywhere from $200 to $500. so for $30 each is what i payed for i call that a hell of a deal.

So for anyone who is looking for a shop, they seem to run a clean shop and look professional, if anyone needs work done they might be a good option, if anyone gets stuff done make sure you post feedback!

$30.00 each while cheap sure did get them a lot of word of mouth so IMO that was well worth it.

However until I see some full builds and a handful of tuned cars come out of that shop a clean shop with good PR still wont get me to let them touch my FI Z. but hopefully they do good and become a great shop since we can always use more options.

googled the name and found http://www.jeimportperformance.com/ is that the shop?

Doesn't look to shabby

JEimports is not a bad shop as alot of celica guys praised them and i think its not only if the shop does good work but how they honor their work and what they will do to make things right. just my opinion, everyone makes mistakes but only a few go the extra mile and fix it.

I've been to JE, and I always talk directly to James.

They are a no bullsht shop with clean builds, they drift they shop's 350z at all the circuit drift events, and they have some SICK builds on the back (that they dont show everyone)

I've done business with them before, but it was a purchase only.

However, a few of the custom fabrication pieces they have crafted one-off's have been copied by a LOT of production companies, so I believe they are a well respected, reputable shop.

Yea I don't know why JE doesn't get as much attention in the Z/G community. They've been around for a while and unlike the other controversy shops that we're familiar with in Mid-A, JE had actually been keeping a pretty damn clean reputations. They actually worked on my Z on a few small things when I used to live down in Baltimore. A bunch of my 240 friends go there to get work done as well. The owner James used to be an engineer for a professional racing team. Unlike many other shop owners, James is well educated, doesn't do drugs or even smoke cigarette!! I don't know if that matters.. but somehow that matters a lot to me cuz that sets him apart from the typical uneducated car scene that I'm familiar with. On top of that James and his guys drift and do time attack on a pretty regular basis. Corey got his car tuned there btw.

I bought and installed clutch and flywheel there. Very pleased with the price and workmanship. Followup adjustments were free of course.

I think (gzilla) Corey has had a bunch of work done there and has been really pleased by their work. They did all his tuning and a bunch of other things. So he might be a good resource if you want some feedback on JE Performance. From what I have heard though, they seem to be a top notch shop.

+ 1 on Pho Meet, can we make it a NoVa meet? All the kool kids live in Va anywayz
